this list of "unparliamentary language" that NZ politicians have gotten penalized for using. And there's a Canadian edition here, too.

Strong recommendation to check out Kiwi politicians slinging slurs at each other. Some favorites:

• "I would cut the honourable gentleman's throat if I had the chance"
• "His brains could revolve inside a peanut shell for a thousand years without touching the sides"
• and my personal favorite gpoy: "Energy of a tired snail returning home from a funeral"

I think I've read this before! Shame the list isn't more up to date - I think there was an incident of unparliamentary language last year. Wish I could remember it!

i've been thinking about "His brains could revolve inside a peanut shell for a thousand years without touching the sides" since yesterday and i can't stop laughing about it XD
